The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s largest tech-focused industry association, is proud to announce the Fintech South 2024 conference taking place on Aug. 27-28, Tuesday and Wednesday, at the Woodruff Arts Center. Atlanta Symphony Hall will serve as the main stage for this year’s Fintech South, with more than 1,000 attendees and 125 speakers over the two-day conference embracing the conference theme: Fintech Lives Here!

“We’re thrilled to continue the celebration of TAG’s 25th anniversary with the South’s largest event for financial innovation,” said TAG’s President & CEO, Larry K. Williams. “Georgia is the home of fintech. More than 70% of all global payments are processed in Georgia’s ‘Transaction Alley.’ There is no better place than Atlanta to harness the power of innovation to shape a better financial future.”

Since the first Fintech South more than a decade ago, the conference has evolved from a regional symposium curated by the TAG Fintech Society into a global event for C-suite financial leaders and community innovators. Fintech South 2024’s featured speakers include Jeanne DeWitt Grosser, Chief Business Officer of Stripe; John Kim, EVP and Chief Product Officer of PayPal; Barry McCarthy, President & CEO of Deluxe; and Jennifer Tescher, Founder, President & CEO of Financial Health Network.

The “Deep Dive” track themes for Fintech South 2024 include AI, open banking, payments modernization, credit and lending, wealth building, fraud mitigation, financial regulation, and the future of commerce. The call for speakers is also now open, in addition to applications for the Innovation Challenge and Advance Awards.

This is fintech’s moment and an event that’s not to be missed,” Williams continued. “If you are interested or investing in financial innovation, you need to be at Fintech South.”

Early bird registration ends on June 30 with discounted pricing at $450 for TAG members ($700 for non-members). Fintech South 2024 is made possible thanks to partnerships from deluxe, Truist, and innovative companies from across the fintech ecosystem.
