The Innovation Challenge at Fintech South highlights Georgia-based fintech startups that have raised under $1.5M. Hosted by the Technology Association of Georgia, this annual program includes a month of curated education and mentoring leading up to the event. Finalists pitch to top fintech VCs and experts, with the top 3 competing on the Mainstage at Fintech South 2025 for a $25,000 cash prize.
Starting in 2010 with retired Synovus Financial Corporation Chairman and CEO Jimmy Blanchard, the Technology Association of Georgia’s Fintech Society has honored industry leaders who paved the way for Atlanta to be the global fintech hub it is today. Each year’s honoree becomes a new inductee in the Georgia Fintech Hall of Fame. This is one of highest honors in Georgia’s thriving financial technology community.
